A Place to Play (redux)

This is a new play structure at our small local park, and was my World Wide Panorama entry for the “Family” event.

This picture was originally taken, and posted on the World Wide Panorama, in 2011. It was also posted here, but that no longer works because the old technology for viewing VR photographs (Flash) is no longer supported.
Parks like this are great places for families to picnic, play games, and just spend time together. The play structure is a magnet for children. Some parents watch their children play, and some join in the fun. This picture was taken on Father’s Day in the United States. A day set aside to remember fathers is another aspect of family. So a multifaceted entry.
There were some challenges with the VR. Don’t know if my setup wasn’t stable or just didn’t spend enough time stitching, but it was hard to get everything seamless. I resorted to fixing things in Photoshop, which seemed like cheating. One fun thing is that the little girl who is barely visible, was not as alone as the VR makes it seem. Her family was with her, but disappeared in the stitching process. Perhaps I should have brought them back, since the theme was Family, but it was fun how it worked out, so I just left it.
