This is a quick VR I made when our family took a day at the coast. It was an attempt at a WWP project, but a number of technical challenges kept this one from working out.

There were clouds drifting over the sun, so many of the exposures were different, making it difficult to blend. This was on top of the moving clouds and moving people, all of which contributed to making the stitching hard. If you look closely, you can see some stitching errors.
Also, the low sun cast long shadows. I took some nadir shots to try and deal with this, but it would have taken a lot more work to get that sorted out. I’m skeptical that it could have been made to work at all, because of the varying exposures. As a result, although I did take a nadir shot, the shadows are evident. (And if you look closely, you can see the penny I used to mark the spot. 🙂 )
This shot was quick test; no color correction, no sharpening, etc. Just playing around.
Still, it was a nice day with the family, and I had fun taking the picture.
