Corban University Paths

by Jim

Corban Paths ThumbnailThis is the central area at Corban University in Salem, Oregon, where paths crisscross the natural amphitheater between dorms and classroom buildings. This is my WWP “Paths” entry.

Some of the paths have stairs, and at least one includes a bridge. Some are concrete, some earth, some rock. They remind us of the varied paths in our own lives.

Universities are natural places to reflect on our personal journeys, because it is at such places that we begin to make significant personal choices of the paths we will walk in life.

But as we look around, we are reminded of paths to be walked beyond this life. Some choices made now determine those as well.
