Albany Regional Museum

Albany Regional Museum
This is inside the Albany Regional Museum, and was my “History” entry for the World Wide Panorama project in Fall, 2011.

This was taken inside the Albany Regional Museum (ARM), a place that showcases local history, mainly through donated artifacts. A history museum seemed like a good fit for the “History” theme, although a little obvious.

The ARM is in the city’s downtown core, and is really quite nice for a small-town museum. Some of the exhibits are even updated from time to time to tell new stories. The facility also includes a small library, open for anyone to research local history.

This picture included typical VR challenges: a dim indoor setting with some windows to the bright sunny exterior. Fortunately, a little bracketing and work in Photoshop resulted in a reasonable result.
